I'm Alana Marie, the farmer's daughter turned architect behind the down-to-earth botanical studio based in Portland, OR.

I grew up on organic farms in Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest, and these wild places gave me the canvass of hues, aroma, and textures that guide my creations today.

That unconventional upbringing transitioned into an architecture and design/build career with highlights in Mexico building an off-the-grid house in the jungle. While the architectural and floral mediums are unique in their scope and lifecycle, my design approach stays the same- harnessing the energy of a landscape into intimate interpretations of place evoking feelings of curiosity and awe. AMARIE FLORA creates a full sensory experience—crafting sculptural installations to elevate atmosphere and suspend time. I’m here to help you make that once-in-a-lifetime experience come to life.
