This Portland winter wedding redefined the allure of off-season nuptials. The ceremony and reception were held at the lovely, industrial Coopers Hall in Central Eastside Portland, OR. We collaborated extensively with the couple leading up to the celebration to craft an elegant, moody affair with textural and color cues from the high desert in Oregon. With the sea of candles, we filled the hall with light which accentuated the ephemeral nature of the floral design.

Summer Forest + Urban Wedding at Hoyt Arboretum + Cooper’s Hall

Robyn + Kyle’s summer celebration brought together their love for the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest outdoors and feasting on darn good local food and drink with their loved ones. The festivities began with a late afternoon gathering at the Stevens Pavilion in the Hoyt Arboretum, and then culminated in a night of toasting and revelry at Cooper’s Hall in the Central Eastside of Portland. The floral design was inspired by the summer meadows in the Columbia River Gorge, which became a series of sculptural abstractions of unique textural elements for the ceremony site and the Hall.
